The Gazelles qualified for the all African games in the Zone 5 championship last year.After a full year of preparation the national council of sports declared that there are no funds to facilitate the team.Now this has become a chronic incidence at the council of sports. World athletic champion Kiprotich almost missed out of the Olympics where he won gold, the national net ball team fund raised their way to the world netball cup,The Uganda Cranes has on various occasions been sponsored from the President"s pocket.The question still remains as to who is responsible for releasing funds to the council of sports.
