UCC has threatened to shutdown Christian television and Radio if they mention the names of the false prophets and the names of their locations.
Pastor Jackson Senyonga, the senior pastor of Christian life church Kampala was commanded last year to stop anybody testifying in his church from mentioning the names Nabi Kakande, brother Ronny Makabai and Yiga Augustine in their broad casted prayer meetings. The Broad casting council vowed to withdraw Top TV and Top Radio broad casting licenses if they failed to comply.
Pastor Senyonga complied and stopped anyone who mentioned the names of these so called false prophets in their testimonies from continuing testifying.
Again this year UCC has again released new directives to Christian life church, Pastor Senyonga has been ordered not to mention the Words Kawala, Kawuku, Ku Billi, Entebbe Road,Salama Road, Etm, Holy City. The church owned television and radio will be shut down if any person mentions these location names in their testimonies. You will therefore not hear these words on top radio or top television again.
Dr Joseph Serwadda warned the church against these coming legislations and called the church to come together and resist them but was strongly opposed by many of his fellow pastors, now where are those who said no one can take away the freedom of worship in born again churches, speak out for Christian life church, because this not about Jackson Senyonga, this targeting the freedom of worship in all Christian churches.
When Pastor Robert Kayanja was accused , he was quickly taken to court and found innocent, If these men kakande, Yiga and Ronny makabai being testified against are innocent why don't they take pastor Senyonga to court and the people giving the testimonies instead of a government ministry covering up for them. How can a national broadcasting body, violet people's right to information using conditional threats.
